Maya Grace's 1st College Football Experience

Yesterday my friend Jenny and I took Maya Grace downtown to College Game Day. College Game Day was in town for the Alabama/Clemson game at the Dome. Needless to say MG and I got lots of comments on our Auburn gear. We had a good time though and got to see what CGD is like in person. We even got our AU/UK poster on TV. My friend Jenny is a UK fan so we had a divided poster. You can see in the picture she is holding Maya Grace and wearing her UK shirt. We had a great time kicking of College Football Season. Go Tigers!

Our Family Vacation to the Beach

This July we took Maya Grace on her first trip to the beach. We drove down to The Villages, FL to see Brian's parents and some friends. After an evening in adult Disney we drove over to Long Boat Key, FL. We rented a condo on the beach and enjoyed a great view of the ocean. Maya Grace wasn't sure about the beach and the sand. She wouldn't walk in the sand but after a few days she did start to play in the sand and even had a sand snack one afternoon. Her favorite thing was watching the birds and the lizards. We had a great time and can't wait to go back to the beach again sometime soon.
