Our nephew visits from Seattle
Our nephew Ellliot just came to visit us all the way from Seattle. We had a great time having him visit with us. We took him to 6 Flags, Stone Mountain and lots of other great Atlanta sites. He helped us out with Maya Grace and played with Libby. He also had fun playing Rock Band with his Uncle Brian and he also played with our neighbors often. We are so glad he could come and look forward to seeing him again soon.

The TPR is complete
I know everyone has been eager to here how things are progressing with the adoption and so we finally have something significant to report. Yesterday there was a court hearing and the judge ruled that the parental rights of MG's birthparents were to be terminated. She is now free for adoption. It is a happy day for us but also sad as we reflect on her birthmom and the joy she is missing out. Please pray with us for her birthmom that she will come to have peace in her life.
As we move forward from here please continue to lift up the adoption process and that things would move along quickly and without needless delays. We don't really know when the adoption will be final but hopefully before the end of October we will have more news to share. Thanks again to everyone for the support and prayers. We love you all.

Our dog Libby
Our dog Libby has taken a back seat over the last 7 months but I thought it was time to tell everyone how great she has been. She lets Maya Grace sit next to her while she eats, sit on her dog bed and even tolerates an occasional ear or tail pulling by just walking away. She is so patient and loves to play with Maya Grace. We are so blessed to have such a great dog for our family.
