Our Trip to Memphis

We had a great time on our trip to Memphis. Maya Grace and I flew over while Brian enjoyed some alone time with the top down on the Jeep. We all arrived safely and enjoyed lunch at our favorite BBQ spot; The Commisary. We got to spend some time with our friends Rachel and Brett and meet their newest arrival; Zach. Their older son Robert was a lot of fun to play with too. Later that afternoon we enjoyed a dip in the pool. Saturday we ventured downtown and Robert and I got in some good puddle hopping. Then we all got to see the world famous ducks at The Peabody Hotel.
Saturday evening it was off to Mississippi so Maya Grace could meet some of her family. She got to meet her Great Uncle Fletcher, Great Aunt Angie and Cousin Ben. Fried foods are a favorite of MG's as she got to try everything from fried pickles to fried catfish and loved it all. Her Mississippi family was so proud! After dinner we headed back to Memphis but on the way Brian treated me to a cone from The Velvet Cream, yum! We look forward to going back to Memphis again.
