Family Fishing Trip
Maya Grace has so much fun in Florida fishing that she has been asking to go ever since so a few weeks ago we went to the Buford Fishery and caught some small brim. She even got brave enough to touch the bait. Her daddy was very proud.

The Summer...better late than never right?
Well even though summer is over and I am very late at posting these pictures we did have a great one. It was filled with trips to the beach, the library, the park, and of course Granmommy and Grandaddy's house. Maya Grace had her first fishing trip and caught her first fish. She even got to feed a giraffe at the zoo in Florida. We also had a visit from our Seattle family, what a treat! It was a great summer and we are already looking forward to next summer.

Maya Grace turns 3!
It is hard to believe our little angel is already three years old. We celebrated her third birthday with a party down in the cul-de-sac. We had to change it last minute to Friday night from Saturday because of the storm that was predicted. Everyone came out even though there was the change of date. All of our neighbors came together and helped Maya Grace feel super special on her Tinkerbell birthday.

It may have been a few months ago but we had a great Christmas this year. Brian's family come to spend time with us and we all enjoyed being together. Maya Grace had fun running from window to window to see is Santa's reindeer were outside. Libby even was festive and wore her Santa hat. Santa came and brought Maya Grace her first roller skates and she enjoyed trying them out in the garage. We all had a great time.
After Christmas we enjoyed continuing our tradition that started with my mom and went to ride the Pink Pig. Brian and I took MG down to Lenox and we each took a turn riding with her.

After Christmas was over and the New Year started Maya Grace started her first after school activity, gymnastics! Our neighbor told us how much her son loved gymnastics so we signed MG up. She loves it as well and so the mom taxi has begun. :) We have enjoyed watching her swing from the bars, walk on the balance beam and learn to jump into the pit.

This winter we had a lot of snow for the Atlanta area. It snowed three times and once we even have a few inches of nice soft snow. Maya Grace, Brian, Libby and I had fun playing in the snow and catching snowflakes on our tongues.

Easter this year Brian's parents came and we even had a neighborhood Easter egg hunt. It was a lot of fun. Maya Grace found lots of eggs and we had a lot of good family time. We even dyed eggs together as a family, it was a great way to celebrate the greatest gift, the gift of Easter.

Our angel takes the stage

Maya Grace had her first ever school Christmas service. She along with the other 2 year olds took the stage to share two songs about Jesus' birthday. It was a special night and we were very proud of our little angel even if she called out friends names, waved to everyone in the audience and was more interested in what was going on behind her in the pew then singing. To us she was still the brightest star out there. Her Daddy brought her flowers, she had a row of supporters and I was the proud Mommy taking pictures and willing to knock anyone down to get my pictures. :)

A visit with Santa
On Saturday we took Maya Grace to see Santa. They had crafts, storytime and doughnuts at school along with Santa. He came to Mount Pisgah and Maya Grace finally got to tell him that she wants roller skates. She has been talking about roller skates since the summer and when we got there she barely wispered it to him but she did tell him. She sat on Mrs. Claus lap and even smiled. It was a great time for all. It was a great start of the Christmas season.
